A lonely night...

Odette walked away from the study and just kept walking froward, with no destination in mind.

She knew she wouldn't be able to sleep for the time being, so she decided to walk around the house until she felt she could.

Odette's fingers lightly grazed the wall beside her as she walked. She paused at a window and looked out to see a full moon shining. It gave the grounds an eerie look, that usually she would be entranced by....

But not on this night...

She shivered, before moving on.

Her thoughts went back to Inspector Violet and smiled a little when she recalled seeing the blush on her cheeks when she almost said "Odette" instead of "Mrs. Peacock."

She shook her head, then began to hum a little.

In the back of her mind she knew it was actually unwise to be alone...

For all the inspectors know, the killer isn't one of the 6 suspects...

Odette leaned against the wall by a window, looking up at the stars and moon. She paid no attention to the eerie looking grounds as she stood there.

She sighed after a moment and turned her back to the window. She pulled something from under the front of her dress, to reveal her wearing a locket.

It was a locket with an engraving of a swan on it. She opened it and smiled sadly at the picture of her parents hugging on one-side of the locket and a picture of her on the other side. She lightly touched the picture of her parents.

"I miss you..." She whispered, sadly.

She gave the picture a kiss, before closing the locket and hugging it to her chest.

It held the only picture she had of her parents...

When her aunt kicked her out, Odette was literally left with nothing but the clothes on her back. The locket had been a wedding present from George on their wedding day.

It was her favorite gift out of all the ones he's given her (or tried to give her)...

She slipped the locket back inside her dress and sighed, before walking on.
